BHP Billiton
Among the world’s largest producers of major commodities, BHP Billiton engaged Cell-Media to produce various induction packages, including one that takes users on a simulated tour of a typical Iron Ore mining operation. This used ‘green screen’ technology, 2-D and 3-D graphics to give users the sense they were on-site.
Rio Tinto
As the second largest iron ore producer in the world, Rio Tinto worked with Cell-Media on several projects, including Contractor Management Framework (CMF) Training. This tailored training uses a combination of photographs, videos, 2-D and 3-D graphics and interactive assessments to quickly and accurately train contract workers.
Newmont Mining
Cell-Media has produced a range of flexible online safety learning material for Newmont Mining, one of the world’s largest gold producers. For example, Cell-Media produced an easy to use iPad application for haul truck driver training. The application also allows observers to actively track candidate progress.
